Ian has over 30 years’ experience in education, including leadership roles in Australia, the UK and Canada. he holds degrees in Education and completed a teaching secondment at Simon Fraser University.
He has coached premiership-winning school sports teams and led international music and sports tours. Ian has also contributed to various community groups and committees and has served as a Justice of the Peace for over 46years.
He joined the Connect2Group Management Committee in 2012.
Michael immigrated from England in 1963 and worked as a manager in manufacturing and transport in Sydney for 22 years. After moving to Brisbane in 1984, he ran a property maintenance business.
He cared for his quadriplegic stepson for eight years and joined the Bayside Respite Care Management Committee in 2012, becoming President in 2017. Michael joined the Connect2Group Management Committee in January 2020.
Kevin Grice has held senior finance roles in manufacturing and mining, including time at BHP and various large and small companies. He also has board and general management experience.
After retiring, he spent three years in finance with the Not-for-Profit International China Concern. A passionate rugby supporter, Kevin played over 300 grade games and coached for two years.
He holds a Commerce degree from Newcastle University and is a CPA. Kevin joined the Management Committee in September 2018.
Having established his consulting practice in 2001, Mark has worked within a range of industries including resources, ICT vendors, healthcare, construction, transport & logistics, government, consulting and with a recent focus in behavioural science and neuroscience. Mark has been exposed to complex programs, rapid growth and optimisation projects within small agile start-ups to large multinational billion-dollar organisations spanning several countries.
His specialties include strategy, leadership, program and project management, culture change, agile projects, service management, design thinking, human centred design, innovation, and automation. Mark has been a board member since 2017.
Shinaide brings over 13 years of Australian Public Service experience to the Connect2Group Management Committee, with expertise in governance, risk, strategy and policy.
She has completed leadership programs including the IPAA Future Leaders and Audrey Fagen Board Traineeship and is committed to fostering inclusive, transparent environments.
Shinaide is passionate about public service and supporting people with disabilities. She joined the Management Committee in October 2023.
Kevin is a retired accountant with nearly 50 years of experience at companies including Commonwealth Bank, James Hardie and Volvo Trucks. A Lions Club member for 20 years, he enjoys travel, community service and reading.
He has volunteered as Treasurer for several organisations, including Bayside Respite Care since 2019. Kevin joined the Management Committee in July 2024.
